The customer fee for your household helper
.You pay your household helper with service vouchers, but we also charge a customer fee. This fee ensures that Helan Household Help, as a social entrepreneur, can continue to safeguard the well-being of its household helpers. We are happy to explain exactly what this means.
Why do I have to pay a customer fee?
As a service voucher company, we receive grants for the operational functioning of our organisation. But as a social entrepreneur, we look beyond optimal operation. We make extra investments in our people. This means that our household helpers are:
Highly trained
We invest in our household helpers by training them thoroughly. In doing so, we focus both on practical training and personal development. Our household helpers also receive the support of cleaning coaches who advise and assist them at the workplace. That way, as a customer, you can always count on quality service.
Safe at work
Safety is a priority. That is why we make sure our household helpers are well protected in the workplace. We teach them how to use products safely and provide an ergonomics coach to give them tips and advice. We also offer a free flu shot every year. And of course, our household helpers are insured for work-related accidents. Just as you, as a customer, are insured in case of damage.
Well supervised
Our consultants ensure that household helpers are able to do their jobs to the best of their ability. And they do more than just listen. They also plan realistically, identify clients, take care of administration, ensure correct payment and much more. Moreover, our household helpers enjoy numerous benefits, including meal vouchers, discounts on health insurance premiums, on purchases made in the Helan Zorgwinkel and on Heyo holiday camps.
Administratively supported
The handy Household Help app means administrative help is on hand for both you and your household helper. Customers can view a summary of their cleaning appointments, adjust the schedule, request extra hours and contact their consultant – all in the app. Your household helper can view his/her timetable digitally while we take care of service voucher processing and scheduling. That way, your household helper can focus on what really matters to him/her: taking work out of your hands.
Helan wellbeing
At Helan, we strive to create a safe, healthy, and supportive work environment for all our co-workers, including our household helpers. This includes not only the essential equipment for safe working, but also attention to mental wellbeing. Our consultants and coaches are always ready to listen.
How much is the customer fee?
