Are you a customer of Helan Health Insurance Fund? If so, you will pay a 65-euro customer fee each year. Your health insurance fund will take care of the remaining 55 euros.

Absolutely. When you request household help, we ask for your preferred days. These are the set days when you would like a household helper to visit, so that their schedule matches yours perfectly. You will find more information on the 'Scheduling your Household Help page'.
Your household helper may perform both indoor and outdoor tasks. Cleaning, cooking, washing windows and small sewing jobs are all permitted. And your household helper is also happy to lend a hand for light errands in your neighbourhood. You can cancel your household help up to four times a year free of charge or suspend service for one specified period of up to four consecutive weeks. For any additional cancellations, you will be charged a fee. You can find all the practical details about cancelling your household helper on the 'Scheduling your household helppage'.
Is your household helper away? Breathe in, breathe out and put down those cleaning cloths for a moment. Wherever possible, we will arrange replacements for you.
Scheduled absences
Your household helper works Monday to Friday, except on a public holiday. If this means your cleaning appointment will be cancelled, you can request a replacement in advance. If your housecleaner is planning to take holiday leave or training, we will inform you at least one week in advance. We will arrange a replacement if you wish.
.Unexpected absences
If your household helper is sick or unexpectedly absent, we will inform you as soon as possible. As it is difficult to find a replacement on the day itself, we will schedule a make-up appointment for you.
Pay your household helper with service vouchers. In the Flemish and Walloon Regions, vouchers cost €9 each. In the Brussels-Capital Region, they will cost €10 each as of 01/01/2023. Due to the tax advantage, the actual cost per service voucher is €7.20 in Flanders, €8.10 in Wallonia and €8.65 in the Brussels Capital Region.
You can order your digital service vouchers from Pluxee (Sodexo). You then pay your household helper with one click through the Helan Household Help app.
Helan Household Help also charges a quarterly administrative fee. This enables us to continue investing in training and safety and prevention measures, and in the team of consultants that give household helpers the support they need. Are you a Helan Health Insurance Fund customer? If so, Helan pays a large part of the customer fee for you!
Do you already have a household helper?
