What is Hospitalia Assist?
Hospitalia Assist is an additional assistance included in your Hospitalia Medium or Hospitalia Plus insurance. Hospital stays are becoming shorter. With Hospitalia Assist, you recover at home in peace and comfort.
Help in your household, transport, aminder for your child. We provide the helping hands in your time of need – before, during or after your hospitalisation or if you are seriously ill.
Hospitalia Assist is included with Hospitalia Medium and Hospitalia Plus. So, you don't pay anything extra for the services if you have one of these insurance policies.

Hulp in huis en oppas
Per ziekenhuisopname of per toekenning van een zware ziekte heb je recht op 5 interventies voor hulp in huis of een oppas.
Transport en vervoer
Per ziekenhuisopname of toekenning van de waarborg zware ziekten krijg je tot 250 euro voor vervoer, met een maximum van 125 euro per rit.
How do I request Hospitalia Assist services?
You can rely on Hospitalia Assist for support before, during, and up to 180 days after an admission to hospital, or during the period that a Serious Illnesses Guarantee has been granted.

Practical questions and answers
You can call on Hospitalia Assist in the event of a day admission, multi-day admission, home birth or serious illness. This provided the event is covered by hospitalisation insurance Hospitalia Medium or Hospitalia Plus.
When giving birth in hospital, Hospitalia Assist can be requested only in exceptional situations.
Assistance services provided through Hospitalia Assist are only available in Belgium;. Also, if you are admitted abroad and reimbursed by your hospitalisation insurance, you will not be eligible for Hospitalia Assist upon your return to Belgium.
Please contact Hospitalia Assist at 02 560 47 86 to do so. Be sure to do this at the latest 30 days after your hospitalisation . That way, you will not lose your right to assistance. Of course, if you have a severe illness, this deadline does not apply. You can call on Hospitalia Assist throughout the period that your severe illness is recognised by the medical adviser.

What are the terms and conditions?
Hospitalia Assist is the hospitalisation insurance assistance service available withHospitalia Medium and Hospitalia Plus. These policies have an age limit; you can join up to age 65. From age 66, however, you can still join Hospitalia, our affordable, standard insurance policy with excellent protection in the event of a hospital admission. The standard Hospitalia insurance policy does not include the assistance services.

These hospitalisation insurance policies provide protection in the event of hospitalisation and assistance to all your family members: your child, your partner and you. You can all rely on Hospitalia Assist.
