Who is organising this campaign?
Helan Health Insurance Fund, having its registered office at Boomsesteenweg 5 - 2610 Wilrijk, enterprise no. 411 696 011, organises the 'Refer-a-friend’ campaign. These regulations describe the campaign and the conditions for participation.
What is the campaign about?
With this campaign, we reward customers of Helan Health Insurance Fund with a gift card worth 30 euros for www.helanzorgwinkel.be, www.decathlon.be, www.bongo.be or www.standaardboekhandel.be
- When we receive the mandatory data as requested in the online form, together with the customer number of the referrer.
- And when an appointment with the person is scheduled and actually takes place in a Helan office or by video call. During the appointment, we introduce the services and advantages of Helan Health Insurance Fund.
- For this campaign, there is no obligation to sign up, and only persons aged 18 and over may participate.
Length of the campaign
This campaign is continuous.
How can you participate?
- Create a personal link with your customer number at helan.be/fanvanhelan and send it to your friends.
- You can find your customer number on your white adhesive stickers (EXID ...) or via My Helan.
- After the meeting with your friend at a Helan office or via video call, we will contact you.
- You choose a gift card worth 30 euros for the Helan Healthcare Shop, Decathlon, Bongo or Standaard Boekhandel, and receive it by email.
The reward
- As a Helan customer, you receive a gift card worth 30 euros for the Helan Healthcare Shop, Decathlon, Bongo or Standaard Boekhandel.
- We contact you to ask your preference.
- We deliver the gift card digitally via the email address stated in your file.
Conditions of participation
- The campaign is accessible to every customer of Helan Health Insurance Fund, with the exception of staff members of Helan Health Insurance Fund, the directors of Helan Health Insurance Fund and every person participating in the organisation of the campaign, along with the family members of the aforementioned natural persons.
- A submission is only eligible for the campaign when all mandatory fields of the online form are filled in. Illegible and incomplete details on the form render a submission ineligible for the campaign.
- Forms that consist of names of family members or friends that live at the same address will only count as one entry in this campaign.
- The persons whose details are submitted cannot already be customers of Helan Health Insurance Fund, neither as a dependent nor as a policy holder.
- No right to a gift is granted if the referred person does not attend the appointment or if the appointment is postponed indefinitely. The only exception is if the contact person becomes a customer of Helan Health Insurance Fund in spite of this.
Verification of fulfilment of the campaign regulations
- The participants consent to any verification of their identity or their stated place of residence.
- Participants entering false, incomplete or incorrect details regarding their identity or address will automatically be excluded.
Validity
- The gift is only awarded if the friend or family member whose details are received via the online form actually attends an appointment at a Helan office or via a video call, regardless of whether they become a customer or not.
- The gift is awarded based on the Helan Health Insurance customer number automatically entered in the (online) form. If the customer number is entered incorrectly, there is no right to a gift card.
- If any provision of these campaign regulations is found unlawful, invalid or unenforceable for any other reason, this provision will be considered as severable from the campaign regulations and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.
- The void provisions should be interpreted and/or replaced by valid provisions with the same, equivalent or most similar aim and outcome to those intended in the original provision.
- Any participation that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, insulting, unfair, vulgar, obscene, hateful, racist, xenophobic, violates someone's privacy or is in any other way objectionable will immediately be excluded.
- All submissions will be assessed on the basis of the aforementioned criteria by the marketing department of Helan Health Insurance Fund.
Acceptance of these campaign regulations
- Participation in this campaign implies the full and unconditional acceptance of these campaign regulations by the participant. Helan Health Insurance Fund will not archive the campaign regulations.
- Interpretation of these campaign regulations
- Any problem related to the interpretation of these campaign regulations, as well as any situation not covered by these campaign regulations will be settled by an internal jury appointed by Helan Health Insurance Fund.
- No answers will be given whatsoever to any written, telephone or verbal questions related to the interpretation or application of these regulations, the modalities of the campaign or with regard to the list of participants.
Limited liability of Helan Health Insurance Fund
- Helan Health Insurance Fund reserves the right to postpone, amend or cancel the campaign due to force majeure or any other reason that is outside of Helan Health Insurance Fund's control (such as, but not limited to, a technical incident related to a defect in the IT system used, unauthorised access to the IT system, a malfunction, or an interruption or a delay in the telecommunication network).
- Likewise, Helan Health Insurance Fund cannot be held liable for any problem relating to the transfer of data via the internet or for problems that are inherent to electronic data transfer, resulting in an inability to participate or an invalid submission.
Indemnity
- By participating in the campaign, the participant recognises that Helan Health Insurance Fund cannot be held liable for the content provided by the participant.
- The participant agrees to compensate, indemnify and, if desired, defend Helan Health Insurance Fund, as well as its employees, directors, shareholders, agents and representatives against all claims from third parties and/or costs (including but not limited to, reasonable lawyer's fees and costs) arising from their violation of these campaign regulations or their violation of any intellectual property rights, or any right of any person or entity.
Governing law and choice of forum
Belgian law applies to these campaign regulations, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law. The participant agrees that any claim relating to their participation in this campaign or relating to these campaign regulations can only be brought to the courts of Ghent (Belgium) and they agree and submit to the jurisdiction of such courts for the purposes of such a claim.
Protection of personal data
- Helan Health Insurance Fund is committed to protecting privacy. The personal data that is collected from a participant in the context of this campaign is processed by Helan Health Insurance Fund as the data controller. The data is used for the execution and processing of the campaign. We use this data to schedule a no-obligation appointment with the relevant person. This data is only stored in Helan's database if explicit permission is given by the relevant person via the online form. Helan only contacts the person to schedule an appointment if this permission is given, and therefore rewards can only be granted if permission is given. If no permission for contact is given, the data will not be stored and no reward can be provided.
- The data of persons who do not join Helan or are uninterested will be deleted by Helan Health Insurance Fund within a period of six months. Questions regarding the handling of data can be asked via our form.
- Helan Heath Insurance Fund can share the data with subcontractors acting on behalf of Helan or with companies within its group. Every participant has the right to access and have their data rectified. This can be requested via privacy@helan.be.
